Test Run

CCE London have spent the last week getting The Queen ready for use and this afternoon we had the opportunity to just run a very simple test. This consisted of just punching out 4 lines of evenly spaced holes, purely as a test, with the machine was running at the slowest speed.

Looking forward to the first job that will be going on it later in the week!

With the arrival of the Queen it has enabled us to relook at the current position of equipment and move items around to implement a clearer workflow for the business. Equipment has been moved from either l’atelier deux into 'l’atelier un, or l’atelier un into l’atelier deux!

So, this morning the Queen was manoeuvred into its position ensuring that it had sufficient workspace around it and keeping it company is our guillotine from l’atelier un. We now have two CNC Presses within l’atelier un and the Queen and guillotine in l’atelier deux, almost want to say, ‘off with your head!’

Once the Queen has been commissioned, we will be able to start working on the projects that are flying into the business!

The Amada Vipros 358 Queen turret Punch Press has arrive at CCE London’s office today.

The huge lorry had the task of manoeuvring down the lane to the factory and we are looking forward to having this installed over the next couple of days.

This was a big investment for the business and we are looking forward to putting it to good use!
